STCW 5in1 Refresh – Survival, Basic Fire, Advanced Fire, Rescue Boats and FRB
This is the most complete refresher course. You train in all elements from the 4in1 and add Fast Rescue Boat (FRB) tasks. You practise high-speed manoeuvring, controlled approaches and recovery of people from the water. The training helps you stay calm and effective when every second counts. Choose this course if your job includes FRB operations or advanced rescue tasks.
STCW 4in1 Refresh – Survival, Basic Fire, Advanced Fire and Rescue Boats
You cover the full set of emergency skills required for wider safety responsibilities. You move through survival training, basic fire fighting, advanced fire team routines and rescue boat handling. You work through complex drills where several emergency responses overlap, giving you stronger situational awareness and clearer decision making. STCW 3in1 Refresh – Survival, Basic Fire and Advanced Fire
You revisit all content from the 2in1 course and add rescue boat operations. You practise launching, recovering and manoeuvring rescue boats while improving communication and coordination during rescue tasks. You work through realistic scenarios that mirror the pressures of assisting people in the water. This course suits you if your role involves launching or handling rescue boats.
STCW 2in1 Refresh – Survival and Basic Fire Fighting
This course helps you maintain the core skills required on every vessel. You revisit life-saving routines such as donning a lifejacket, entering the water safely, righting a life raft and working as a team during evacuation. You also refresh your response to fire emergencies. You handle basic equipment, practise safe movement through smoke and understand how to limit risks before they escalate. This option fits you if you only need the fundamental modules to stay compliant.
Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR) (STCW A-VI/1-4)
This course introduces you to the safety culture expected on board and the behaviour needed to work effectively as part of a crew. You learn how to recognise hazards, follow safe working practices and respond to instructions during normal operations and emergencies. The course also covers teamwork, communication and social responsibility, helping you understand your role in keeping yourself and others safe.
