About the Svendborg training centre
Established in 1999, Maersk Training’s facility in Svendborg, Southern Funen, is its largest simulation site. The centre expanded in 2010 with the addition of the state-of-the-art MOSAIC simulation centre and a hotel, enhancing the training experience for participants. Svendborg, a historic maritime hub, is closely tied to A.P. Møller Mærsk, which began operations nearby in 1904. Many Danish seafarers have launched their careers in this region, reflecting its longstanding connection to maritime industries. The centre provides advanced training in a realistic environment, supporting the development of essential skills for the maritime and offshore sectors.
