When I reflect on the trajectory of the wind energy sector, one fact stands out: the future of this industry—and our planet—hinges on the skilled professionals who will drive it forward. The wind energy industry is expanding at an unprecedented pace. In 2022, global wind power capacity surpassed 837 GW, according to the Global Wind Energy Council. However, this growth brings a significant challenge: a critical shortage of skilled workers to maintain and operate these new wind farms.
