Essential Information

Prerequisites:
Participants must hold a valid maritime medical certificate and be physically fit to carry out FRB operations.

This course is designed for offshore personnel, including rig crews and emergency response teams, who are responsible for FRB operations.

Competence is verified through practical assessments, including drills in boat handling, casualty recovery, and emergency response.

Certification:
Upon successful completion, participants receive an STCW and US Coast Guard-approved certificate valid for five years.

Operating and maneuvering the FRB in adverse weather conditions, including simulated emergency scenarios.
