Understand the rationale behind the SIRE 2.0 regime and its objectives.
Clearly identify and explain the differences between VIQ7 and SIRE 2.0.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the structure and classification of SIRE 2.0 inspection questions.
Implement necessary pre-inspection office procedures to prepare for a SIRE 2.0 inspection.
Confidently use and understand new terminology and tools such as PIQ, CVIQ, Certification and Photo Depository, and ROVIQ.
Recognize and apply the impact of Performance Influencing Factors (PIFs) during inspections.
Understand the use of the inspection tablet for real-time data management.
Understand how to categorize and respond to observations during inspections.
Analyze inspection reports and determine appropriate follow-up actions.
Assist in the development of effective training strategies for shipboard personnel under SIRE 2.0.
