OPITO Authorized Gas Tester

This Authorised Gas Tester (AGT) e-learning course is designed to meet the initial training and knowledge assessment requirements for personnel preparing to work as Authorised Gas Testers. This courses meets the OPITO Authorised Gas Tester Standard (Digital Delivery) and Maersk Training has been approved by OPITO to deliver this training.
The aim of the Authorised Gas Tester training programme is to ensure that personnel preparing for a gas tester role are equipped with the knowledge to conduct gas tests for oxygen levels, flammable and toxic gases safely. This training programme also equips the learner with knowledge to conduct gas testing within confined spaces and awareness of associated confined space hazards.
The learners will also learn about relevant legislative requirements, gas measuring and monitoring equipment, and documenting gas test results.
Learners will be required to upload the following information in the Learning Management System for verification and approval:
1.Government-issued Passport, driving licence or national identity card.
AND
2.Vantage number
Certification: OPITO Certificate valid for 3 years.

Assessment:
- To achieve the Authorised Gas Tester Training Digital Delivery, the learner will need to successfully complete the four mandatory units and assessments to achieve ALL learning outcomes.
- 100% pass mark
- Please note: If you are unable to achieve all learning outcomes after content review and 4 attempts at each assessment, you will be required to re-sit the entire course."
