The IWCF Drilling Well Control L3&4 (BL) course prepares you to handle well control situations at driller level using surface or subsea BOP installations. You'll learn techniques aligned with International Well Control Forum standards to manage well control safely and effectively.

Prerequisites
You need a valid IWCF Level 2 certificate or equivalent to take Level 3, and a Level 3 certificate or equivalent to take Level 4. Relevant experience in drilling or well intervention operations is also required.

Who is it for?
This course suits drilling personnel and supervisors responsible for well control operations. It is designed for: Drill crews including drillers, assistant drillers, and tool pushers (Level 3) Supervisors, wellsite leaders, company representatives, and engineers overseeing well control (Level 4)

Assessment
You must complete two written tests featuring multiple choice questions and Kill Sheet calculations. A minimum score of 70% in each section is required to pass. Only one assessment attempt is allowed per candidate per session.

Certification
On passing, you receive the IWCF Level 3 or Level 4 Well Control certificate. This certification is valid for two years and recognised worldwide in the oil and gas industry. It is issued by the International Well Control Forum.
