Purpose of DP CPD E-Learning

Essential Information:

01

Prerequisites:

On the 1st January 2024, the requirements to revalidate your DPO or DVPM certificate changed.

To revalidate your DP certificate, you need to:

  • Complete an NI-accredited DP CPD programme for the required number of years AND complete the NI Online Revalidation exam.
  • Complete 150 DP sea time days

Read more in FAQ below.

02

Certification:

Once you achieve the 80% pass mark at the end of each e-learning module, you will receive a completion certificate which is automatically generated by the Learning Management System. This completion certificate lists the contents covered in each e-learning module and has a unique certificate number. You will be required to use these as evidence of completion of CPD ‘Years’ when applying for your Online Revalidation Exam with the Nautical Institute.
