Course overview

This awareness course focuses on the importance of hazard identification. It focuses on identifying energy sources as a means of identifying common industry hazards and describes the steps involved, and the factors that should be considered, in the hazard identification process.

Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment is one of the fundamental tasks of any organization to improve its safety culture. This programme aims to cover basic concepts on Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment methodology for occupational health & safety.

Prerequisites

Those intending to acquire the competence to conduct Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment in an organisation.

Assessment

After completing the training, the participants will have to complete a theoretical test.
