We were brought onboard for an onboard learning process implemented by Maersk Line some years ago – the program titled cLear took a selected number of appropriate courses and converted them to     the electronic media so that seafarers could learn in downtime, not holiday time.  The courses were mostly at the introductory end of the learning sphere and we have picked up where the cLear program left off to investigate which courses might best suit this approach and from which seafarers would gain. The title cLear came from the twin aims of clearing free time whilst conveying a clear message.
