Purpose

The AYS associated Presentation Skills (behaviour) course enabled delegates to deliver presentations more effectively and successfully.

Content

The syllabus consists of 10 modules

  • Module 1 - Introduction into preparation for a good presentation

  • Module 2 - Making a plan / structure of presentation

  • Module 3 - Sticking to the plan and main message

  • Module 4 - Your delivery and assertiveness

  • Module 5 - Self presentation

  • Module 6 - Body language

  • Module 7 - Selecting the best training / presentation method

  • Module 8 - Oral presentation (with and without OH / slides)

  • Module 9 - Visual aids

  • Module 10 - Your presentation

Objectives

The course objectives are to ensure delegates get the most from all presentation opportunities and develop their skills to the full. Delegates will be asked to prepare a short presentation (of roughly 5 minutes) during the course. All delegates will have their presentation filmed and be given a copy to take away with them.

Admission Requirements

Delegates who wish to develop their presentation delivery skills.

This course requires a minimum of 4 delegates, and a maximum of 10 delegates.
