Purpose
The Safe Entry into Enclosed Spaces course is designed to give delegates sufficient knowledge in enclosed spaces to ensure that they can enter, work and leave a confined space safely. The course will also give an understanding of emergency procedures. A competence assessment can be undertaken which would result in City and Guilds Certification.
Content
The syllabus consists of 4 modules:
- Module 1 - Entering and working safely within an Enclosed Space
- Module 2 - Utilising risk assessments, action plans and permits to work
- Module 3 - Monitoring/entry equipment, EEBD's, PPE
- Module 4 - Dealing with an emergency situation
Objectives
To ensure the safety of all persons entering and working in enclosed spaces.
Admission Requirements
A self certification medical certificate will be required to be signed before course commencement.

Participants
This course requires a maximum of 8 delegates.
Language
All courses are delivered in English
Venue
Maersk Training Aberdeen. This course can also be divided into two parts for on board training if required.
