On Site Demonstration - Aberdeen

Purpose

The On Site Demonstration course is designed to provide delegates with a short specifically targeted on-site demonstration (designed whilst keeping in mind that the pressures of work on board a ship can restrict the time available for crew to undertake other courses). The course will also cover important aspects of working in, and rescue from Enclosed Spaces.

Content

The syllabus consists of 3 modules:
  • Module 1 - A demonstration of pre entry procedures
  • Module 2 - Entry and rescue procedures
  • Module 3 - Real time, interactive question and answer session

Objectives

The On Site Demonstration course will heighten awareness of crew members on the problems and dangers involved with enclosed spaces, it will also show how a safe rescue should be effected, and will provide officers and crew the opportunity to discuss the overall problem with our world leading experts in enclosed spaces.
