Purpose

The purpose is to give the participant specific knowledge of how to use Loadstar in his daily work onboard the vessel. To make the user more effective and productive when using the Loadstar programme.

• Going through Loadstar and all its functions and emphasising the use of Importing Baplie file
• Lashing view
• Bay view
• Tank conditions
• Strength and stability
• Exercises
• Import your own Baplie file and make the vessel seaworthy by fulfilling all the requirements

 

Objective

The aim is to give the participant an understanding of the various functionalities in the loadstar programme. Throughout the course, the navigator will become more effective and able to identify and correct mistakes.

Admission Requirements

Navigating officers with no, or limited, knowledge of Loadstar.
