Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator - LNG I
Purpose
The purpose of this course is to introduce the participants to LNG cargo handling. This includes the properties of LNG, the cargo containment system and the associated cargo machinery. The course should also give the participants specific knowledge of their duties and responsibilities. Standard cargo handling procedures are used but more specific procedures can be incorporated, for example, from loading/discharge ports.

- To be able to perform safe cargo operations
- To be able to line – up the cargo system
- To operate the cargo machinery
Admission Requirements
It is recommended that all deck officers and cargo and gas engineers participate. Engineers are also welcome. It is recommended that participants already have a STCW V/1 course.
